PLANNED OUTAGE CANCELLATION- THURSDAY 22ND AUGUST 2024- JIMMIT ETC. The planned outage in Central Jimmit, East Jimmit New Housing Scheme, Hertford Estate, Resources Estate and Warner from 9:00A.M. to 3:00P.M. has been postponed. DOMLEC will advise once a new date for this maintenance exercise is determined.
DOMLEC is pleased to advise that due to generating units IC7 (in Fond Colé) and SL8 (at our Sugar Loaf station) being back in service that load shedding is not likely to occur today. Please be mindful however, that should demand increase to the point where there is a shortfall, load shedding will resume with the communities which were scheduled for today, Wednesday 21st August 2024. Based on this development, and how our capacity status progresses, we will give an update on the Thursday through Saturday’s schedules by End of Day. Thank you.
