MudNgoqo FM is a popular online radio station delivering authentic content and music from/ in South Africa. The station launched as an online radio station on March 13, 2023, becoming one of the first media outlets in South Africa not owned by either the government or a commercial media company. 

MudNgoqo FM broadcasts programs in English, Afrikaans and isiXhosa from Gugulethu Cape Town South Africa. on 97.9 MHz FM,

Our programming includes a blend of everything creative, silly, fascinating to the funny viral content, a feel good music and talk format aimed at the 18 to 39 age group. Listeners are entertained with a mix of music and content that pleases their soul, speaks to their lifestyle and culture. Topics that contain hate speech, profanity, personal insults or attacks are not welcome in this station.

The station combine popular urban sounds of Hip hop, deep house, and reggae with soul music. Our goal is to spread happiness and fight boredom with heart warming content and music.

Our young and vibrant on-air presenters love to make life better and you are guaranteed to hear funny and heart felt content everyday. At MudNgoqo FM spreading love and fighting boredom is what we do, and if its about happiness we will play it twice.

MudNgoqo FM is the brain child of Desmond Ngoqo. Once the station is fully functional its management will be taken over by Milani Zenzile who will  oversees the station's transformation from being a youth station into a broader community-oriented broadcaster. 

In addition to the radio service, MudNgoqo FM will also offers media training, multimedia and community development programs.
