International Mine Awareness Day

A recent case in point is what happened last year in Jaggersfontein, a small mining town in eastern Free State where a mine wall collapsed and damaged properties and infrastructure. Loss of lives was also reported.  We are reminded of this incident because yesterday it was the International Day for Mine Awareness.
