The word “No” is the most powerful word in every language. It is the spark which usually drives many of us to ignite the flames which heats up our successes. The word “No” builds our character and also shapes our paths to the things we want. Unfortunately, many of us are taught that when we say “No” it is impolite and mean or even rude. These assumptions are simply not truth nor fact but rather an interpretation of instances when the word was indeed used for those purposes. The more we hear the word “No” the more it should drive us to improve and become better. In sales, if all you hear from your prospects is “Yes” you will never get better as this will handicap you to the idea that even when things are not right it deserves approval. “No” should simply mean to all of us Next Opportunity and it should be the one factor to drive, passion and persistence to overcome and win through to absolute victory which in translation is “Yes”.
