“VS Radio”, an Online Radio Broadcasting Station streamed from the Colegio Franciscano del Virrey Solis, Orden de Frailes Menores in Bogotá D.C., Colombia. It is aimed to all the Franciscan community and the people interested in different matters around the world. In addition, “VS Radio” invites all educational institutions to participate within the different programs to create a more engaging community among schools.
Project
This project was launched by the School’s English area, which started its first official broadcast on October 1st, 2020 during the celebration of the English Day, which is the academic activity that takes place within the framework of the English subject. The challenge is for the students to be able to practice and carry out activities apart from those taken in the regular classes.
Programing
The musical genre is crossover in English, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. VS radio also provides different podcasts and interviews made by all the interested volunteers in order to create more expressive environment in our Franciscan community.
