Armed with only an acoustic guitar, Spirit is one of the most multi-talented, entertaining, intriguing and captivating one-person performing artists in Canada. No processed sounds. Nothing pre-recorded….. Fluent with many styles, Spirit blends rhythm and sound by “recording” each part of a song – or “layering” the guitar/percussion/bass guitar, and vocals. THIS IS DONE LIVE while having a keen ear for his audience, sound, structure and melody. At every performance, he channels a twist into every piece of music whether performing his original songs, or a cover song – with structure and improvisation. Spirit adheres to his soulful roots by combining smooth melodic vocals with a full spectrum of organic sounds. With one album (All The Pieces ©2012) well on its way, he has released 3 singles to his upcoming sophomore album “HANDS” for 2020. Expect more creativity, and a sound that some consider “outside the box”, yet the songs have alluring hooks coupled with a more extreme vocal range.
