The Beatles wanted Ringo badly. He was the hottest drummer in town, a professional already playing with one of the biggest bands around at the time, Rory Storm and the Hurricanes. When the Beatles finally got Ringo, they were ecstatic. Ringo had filled in for Pete Best a few times and when he did, they were happy.
