It's "Music with a Twist"! Go back in time and hear the 60's on Big 6 Radio. We play music from 1955 to 1975 with a focus on the 1960s, things that you won't hear on radio anymore today. We feature the Psychedelic Psnack every weekday at 11:50 a.m. and it is a time machine back to the 60s complete with sound clips from television and radio. On Saturdays at 11 a.m. we feature the Brunch with Joe Johnson (Joe Johnson's Beatles Brunch). Every day at noon we play the United States National Anthem and feature a prayer by Pastor Jimmy Tanner of First Baptist Church of Murphy, North Carolina, followed by a patriotic song. Since 1958, WCVP-AM has been licensed to the Cherokee Broadcasting Company, Inc. on the choice frequency of 600 kHz (kilocycles). A thousand-watt station, we sign on every morning at 5 a.m. and sign off at local sunset, but you can find us online 24/7/365.
