UMzi Online Radio

UMzi Online Radio (UOR) is a digital radio station that educates all genders of the community focusing on history, heritage. Fighting crime in the community with a digital voice with the positive mindset. The station was established by Mr Sigqibo Gigi Radebe Mrubata, who was born and bred in Zwelethemba, Worcester in the Breede Valley Municipality in the Western Cape

Mr SGR Mrubata, Started a Mrubata Foundation with NPC Nr : 2022/850907/08 (TAX:9359285229), this foundation started in 2018, with initiative of bringing extra-mural activities to our Zwelethemba Community habitants which includes, Schools, Churches, Creches and Old Ages Homes through Sport, Music and Drama Activities.

"Zwelethemba has talented habitants since i was growing up, seeing these great talents fazing out without any recognition it destroys my soul, thats why I created a kasi voice, so all those who need upliftment or to advertise their talent there is a place to do so"

The station that encourages humankind background, origins of ubuntu, religious, cultural, community development, give recognition to community builders. It is a kasi voice that give access to information using the power of technology.

The word UMzi in isiXhosa means alot, UMzi is building up a family, children are groomed in Emzini the way of respect, with cultural values. UMzi is a healthy home, a home with values, respect, dignity and knowing who you are and where you from also where you are going to.
