The Music Advocate is an independently published digital media, advocacy and education platform that came early to the rescue of the music industry in Kenya. Since 2015, the Music Advocate has been working in Kenya to improve and reform the Kenya Music Business Sector. In deed our efforts have brought progress. However, more needs to be done. We work with artists, artist organisations, governments, business, and civil society distilling our lessons into blogs, magazines, podcasts, radio, film, books, courses, and events.
