Welcome to The City FM! We are thrilled to welcome you to the launch of The City FM, our brand-new online radio station, a sister product of The City Times newspaper and Glimpse Magazine. Today marks the beginning of an exciting journey, bringing you closer to the heart of the North West province through a platform that combines the very best of current affairs, entertainment, sports, and a rich variety of local music. At The City FM, we are committed to offering you a dynamic and engaging radio experience, with an impressive 90% of our playlist dedicated to local music across all genres, ensuring that our vibrant community is represented in every beat. Our station is designed to cater to listeners from all walks of life, including both urban and rural areas of the province, reaching out to every corner of the Ngaka Modiri Molema, Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati, Dr Kenneth Kaunda, and Bojanala Platinum districts. With youth aged 12 and up, and adults spanning all the way to 65 years, we aim to create an inclusive space where all ethnic groups feel welcome. Expect to hear the best of Setswana, which will be the primary language of our broadcasts (85%), with an additional 15% in English for wider reach and accessibility.
