Switch FM is the Maranoa’s only local station broadcasting in Yuleba on 89.5 FM and Roma on 95.9 FM and Mitchell 103.7 FM. Switch FM covers more population in the Maranoa than any of the other commercial FM or private FM station.
Commercial stations ZR and Hit both Abandoned the Maranoa now piping in their feeds from outside the Maranoa, Kingaroy/Toowoomba and Townsville.
Switch FM is privately owned and operated in the Maranoa! Switch FM’s studios are housed in a private house. This station is self funded through advertising only and personal fund contributions.
