THE INTERNATIONAL RADIO RZO SYSTEM, releases the signal for the country, Senegal, officially the Republic of Senegal (in French, République du Sénégal), is a country located in West Africa. It borders the Atlantic Ocean to the west, Mauritania to the north and east, Mali to the east, and Guinea and Guinea-Bissau to the south. The Gambia forms a quasi-enclave in Senegal, penetrating more than 300 km inland. The islands of Cape Verde are located 560 km off the coast of Senegal. The country owes its name to the river that borders it to the east and south and rises on the Futa Jalom in Guinea.
