RADIO BUKALANGA

Radio Bukalanga is a licensed community radio station committed to promoting access to information, amplifying the voices of community members and fostering meaningful public participation of the largely rural communities in the public discourse at all levels of society. The community radio serves as a platform for strengthening community and stakeholder participation in social development as well as a space for information sharing and awareness creation as a way of supporting the development efforts in the community. Radio Bukalanga, itself an initiative started by members of the Bukalanga community in Bulilima and Mangwe districts in Matebeleland South, has made significant strides over the past years to develop a footprint and generate sufficient momentum among communities and stakeholders.
