Projekt Jaag: We believe arts and music can be voice for the people, and can be used as medium to spread awareness. We believe in creating such community of musician and artists who are willing to go out and work with the disadvantaged communities (Communities which don't get access to living standard which will make healthy lifestyle).
We have three projects where we do:
1. Community Music Project: Collaborating with organisations and working in marginalised communities or directly working with children. During our program, which is 4 month long intervention, we create a safe space for our children so that they can co-create original songs about awareness related to problems they face in their daily lives.
2. Ensemble Music Project: We believe instruments are integral part of learning music. Research shows that playing instrument triggers different parts of the brain. Our ensemble program uses the same approach to teach music in a fun way along with various life skills, which are in-build with music learning and performance.
3. Early Childhood Music Project: Music should be accessible to everyone and every child should learn to sing and play. Our intervention program with Nursery, KG and Class 1 uses Phonics based curriculum where they learn to explore various sounds, which helps them in learning languages as well as enabling musicians within themselves.
