UPDATE: Today we uploaded a two-hour delightful and dynamic selection of Vivaldi's works for a combination of instruments. Recent uploads were works by Brahms, Haydn, Respighi, Orff, Elgar and...Giuseppe Martucci (1856-1909), the "Italian Brahms" who wrote no operas but concentrated on absolute music. Listen to his magnificent Piano Concerto No 2 and his Canzone Dei Ricordi (The Song Of Memories). We include a second version of the latter recorded in 1941.
