Peniel Church of God embraces justice, Christian values and Disciples of Christ of structure and doctrine. Our mission is to improve the quality of life for God's people through our commitment to follow Jesus.

It is Our Vision to Create a congregation whereby excellence is the standard. We seek to create an environment where we can discover how to nurture relationships through our commitment to listen, learn, offer service, provide pastoral care, seek understanding and love as Jesus loved us.

It is Our Vision to Be a healthy church family -loving, learning, laughing and living in harmony. We seek to be a family where intimacy encouraged through our willingness to be vulnerable, committed and worthy of each other's trust.

It is Our Vision to Develop people to spiritual maturity through worship, Bible study, pastoral care, prayer, seminars, cultural enrichment, crisis support, addiction treatment, abuse intervention, retreats and individual or family counseling. It is our vision that our members will spend time with God, attend Sunday School, tithe regular, participate in small group ministry, live holy and grow. We will help others to succeed through love, prayer, support, pastoral care, encouragement and mutual accountability.

It is Our Vision to Equip every believer for ministry by helping each person to discover and use the gifts God fave him or her. We believe service is not an option. It is our duty. "Faith without work is dead." Thus, it is our vision to equip our members to be God's agents of healing and change. It is our vision to embrace a theology that includes social analysis, action and reflection.

It is Our Vision to Rid ourselves of economic slavery. We seek to help our members get out of debt; tithe, save money, invest; own property; follow their dreams; work smart and create financial security.

It is Our Vision to Build an intimate, loving church, with beautiful facilities, including a worship center, classrooms, rehearsal studio, computer lab, Christian, counseling clinic, personal help center, book store and restaurant. It is our vision to create a safe environment where people can give and receive the care they need. We want angels, strangers, visitors and our members to feel at home. We seek to be Shalom zone.

We Believe the only way our vision can succeed is through surrender to God, the love of Jesus and the power of the Holy Spirit. We will walk by faith and not by sight! "For without faith it is impossible to please God."
