OJUODHI RADIO

OJUODHI RADIO is a Luo vernacular online radio station that was established under KOSHEG, with the mission of empowering people to shape the future of their communities by enhancing local decision-making live on the air to enable everyone to get or have the information, creating a shared sense of belonging, and ultimately strengthening the social, cultural, and economic vibrancy of each place.

Ojuodhi Radio is a force for good in small towns and cities. While On Air, we actively seek the collective wisdom of all locals, including those whose voices are frequently absent. We bring people together to create stronger, healthier, and more prosperous communities.

While taking into account a town's unique characteristics and the deep emotional links among its citizens, this community-driven approach creates trust. The best decisions a community will ever make will be informed by its grasp of what is truly important in life.

In our radio programs, we place a strong emphasis on citizen involvement, identifying and embracing emotional connections with communities, and building a foundation of optimism that inspires new vigor and enthusiasm for action.

This procedure teaches communities how to carry out the job on their own through a voyage of discovery and relationship building.

Through our radio programs, we enable our listeners to experiment with new methods of interaction and decision-making while also coming to understand who they are and what matters to them most.
