Nakama Radio - More than J-Pop

Nakama Radio explores, curates and brings you the best music from Japan.

Nakama Radio is not just another typical anime or J-pop music channel. Our taste ranges across all genres and eras. You will find everything here: kawaii, idols, citypop, future funk, utaite, vocaloids, indie, pop and math rock. From big to small artists. New and old releases. As long as it has that unique Japanese flavour we love.

To get played on Nakama Radio, music has to be made by, or feature a Japanese artist or band and be mostly sung in Japanese, with a few exceptions.

We are open to promos, but will only endorse music that meets our personal standards.
