HIGHLIGHT OF LRC’S HISTORY
The Bible clearly states the need for one to have a vision in Prov 29:18 and after having the vision, it should be clearly spelt out, outlined and needs to be action driven (Hab 2:2). Vision is that which gives focus and essence to the existence of a person or a group such as the L.R.C family. It is the Church’s foresight, imaginative picture or focus for future events that guides its mission here on earth. This vision is from God, but He uses His Servants to convey it to His people. The L.R.C vision came through the General Overseer, Rev. Franklin Gyan.
WHAT WE STAND FOR
Our mandate as LRC is to sound the trumpet call to the attention of the Church that though we may belong to the family of God (Church) yet not many may be saved. The heartbeat of the church is to raise the consciousness among the body of Christ that the Church is still not saved and that there are a lot more we need to do to conscientise the people that belonging to a church does not guarantee your access to Heaven.
VISION OF L.R.C
To redeem the Church through the Power of God’s Grace, Love and Truth and making them conscious of the second coming of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
The church believes that we are saved by grace and not by our works through the power of God and in making an attempt to demonstrate this act; we do so out of love because the scripture says Love conquers all. Our heartbeat is to intensely and constantly remind the Church and humanity at large that the second coming of Jesus Christ is indeed a reality.
MISSION STATEMENT OF LRC
A mission statement seeks to communicate the assignment of an organization in achieving its vision
As a church our core mission is:
➢ To Save a Soul at all Cost
➢ Raise young and dynamic leaders for harvesting Souls
➢ Raise members whose heart yearns for the Holiness of God
We as an LRC family have discovered that the souls of men are precious to God than any other thing and is the heartbeat of God. The Soul of the ‘President’ much as it is dear to God is equally as precious as the Soul of the ‘mad man’on the street. God does not discriminate with the souls of men therefore as a family, money or resource availability should not be a limit or barrier in saving souls for GOD hence to Save a Souls at all Cost.
In anticipation of the expansion of this cause, the Church is dedicated to training and raising an army of leaders whose passion is into soul winning to fulfil this mandate. Luke 10:2 emphasized about Jesus’ statement for us to pray for the Lord of the harvest to bring more workers to the harvest field.
We are therefore confident that individuals with personal commitment to Christ will have the capacity to bring direction to our world. Matt 15:14
We trust God to enable us present to the world the eternal truth of the bible in a form that is doctrinally sound, spiritually inspired, mentally challenging and socially relevant. The Gospel of Christ should be seen as an answer to man’s real life questions.
Raising Ideal Christians for Soul Winning
Our commitment to the vision challenges us to train and equip God’s people who are brought into our care to grow into maturity in Christ. We therefore invest our time, energies and resources to produce a well-balanced Christian.
