About The Station
Indie Grind Podcast Radio Station is a youth-focused radio station, with the Indie in its name meaning precisely "Independent". It has an Urban/Rural Contemporary format, with music standing for 70% of its airtime, of which Kwaito, Hip Hop, and R&B, Jazz, Wedding Songs, Amapiano, Gqom, Cultural Music etc take up the biggest share. Its music selection is at the discretion of its in-house team of DJs, Presenters and its Amapiano Hour with Amapiano mixes, every monday to friday at 5 pm, is particularly popular with the audience.

exclusively play South African music to develop, preserve and grow the music culture, history, industry, and improve the lives of all People especially Artists in our country; and we are dedicated to promoting, exporting, and preserving South African music.
