Fox FM (call sign: 3FOX) is a commercial radio station from Melbourne, Australia. The station was put together in 1980 by the radio consultant Rhett H. Walker. From then on, Fox FM was positioned with a pop rock format, appealing to the widest possible audience. Fox FM went from a top40/pop format into a top 40/dance format. Currently, the station is owned by Southern Cross Austereo's Hit Network, uses the frequency 101.9 MHz and plays Top 40 songs. Its transmission point is the ATV-10 transmission tower on top of Mount Dandenong.
