DYR - Durban Youth Radio is a community radio station broadcast from and to Durban using the frequency 105.1 FM and live streaming globally through the internet.
It started as a campus radio station in 1995, with studios located on the grounds of the then University of Natal until it became a non-profit community station in 2000. As of 2018, its studios are located on the Florida Road, Durban.
As per its name, Durban Youth Radio targets a young audience by offering them innovative, dynamic and creative content. Its line-up comprises various music shows focused mainly on Urban music made by South African artists, local news reports and entertainment shows.
