CBO-FM known as CBC Radio One station is a public Canadian radio station broadcasting from Ottawa, Ontario. This station airs at 91.5 FM and has a network of relay transmitters that serve much of Eastern Ontario. CBO's Ottawa-area transmitter is based in Camp Fortune, Quebec and the studios are located in the CBC Ottawa Broadcast Centre on Sparks Street. CBC Radio One provides news, talk and discussion shows, contests, and community events with the Canadian audience.
1924 was the birth year of this station as CKCH, a Canadian National Railway radio network station. In 1933 the Canadian Radio Broadcasting Commission took over the station and it became CRCO. The call sign changed to CRCO in 1937 when the CBC became the owner of the station.
