Scared to break up_Episode 4

Welcome to Episode 4 of #WHATtheMEL!! #WHATtheMEL is your weekly dose of Mel unedited: inspiration, insight, advice, and of course a lot of humor. You’ve got questions and Mel’s got a lot to say about a lot of things. From answering your questions to taking you inside Mel’s life, you’ll see it all. In this episode, Mel’s answering the hard questions about break ups, anxiety, and stress. And, of course, it wouldn’t be Mel without adding in a little fun with a question about her favorite recipe. If your anxiety has spiked during this quarantine, especially around work, check out Question 1 at 1:22. You can change your thinking patterns, break the habit of worrying, and quiet the anxiety that you feel in your body. Mel shows you how to do just that. If you’re currently in a relationship where you truly love the person but know that deep down the relationship is no longer good for you, Question 2 at 4:58 is a must watch. Breakups suck. There is no way around it. And breaking up with someone you care about is one of the hardest things in the world. Mel walks you through why you have to end it, and how. If you’re a fan of cooking like Mel is, Question 3 at 7:39 is going to leave your mouth watering! Mel talks about her absolute favorite recipe: braised beef with lots and lots of onions. And lastly, if you have aging parents and are stressed about taking care of them, you’re going to tune into Question 4 at 9:00. If you’re in this situation, you have 3 choices: use magical thinking (which isn’t very practical), hire someone or ask a family member for help, or change your attitude. Mel explains each choice and which one she recommends. And remember, YOUR questions drive the content of #WHATtheMEL. Got a question you want to ask Mel? How to live for you, my favorite jeans & breakfast, & accepting this COVID reality _Episode 3

Welcome to Episode 3 of #WhatTheMEL!! #WhatTheMEL is your weekly dose of Mel unedited: inspiration, insight, advice, and, of course a lot of humor. You’ve got questions and Mel’s got a lot to say about a lot of things. From answering your questions to taking you inside Mel’s life, you’ll see it all. In this episode, Mel’s answering everything from how to overcome people's expectations to why she only makes scrambled eggs in her workout gear. Mel shares two simple tips to stop putting everyone else first and to stop people pleasing. Second, we’re talking about a lighter subject: jeans and breakfast. Mel shares her favorite brand of jeans (that are loaded with stretch) and her go-to smoothie recipe (complete with a weird mushroom compound to help with hot flashes). And lastly, Mel dives into a question about accepting our new “COVID reality” that makes everyday feel like Groundhog Day.
