Nikki Martin- Marriage: Brokenness, Forgiveness, and Non-Traditional roles

In this episode I sit down with Nikki Martin. Her and her husband Sam have 4 teenagers and live in NC. They've been married since 1998 and got saved and saw their marriage restored in 2002. In this episode Nikki opens up in true vulnerability about their struggles, the importance of sexual purity, healing, and finding forgiveness and redemption in Jesus. Nikki works full-time while Sam is raising the kids so we get into what that has looked like for them having non-traditional roles and how they parent/raise their children. I love how she talks about the importance of even though they have non-traditional jobs for who does what in their family, it is so ordained by the Lord and they still advocate for a Biblical marriage where the man is the head of the household.
