Alejandra es profesora de inglés y traductora inglés-español. Desde 2012 se desempeña como facilitadora de poesía terapia y en 2013 fundó Árbol de Poesía, una organización dedicada a promover el uso de la poesía en la vida cotidiana a través de diversos proyectos que buscan acercar a la comunidad a la experiencia poética.
