Today I will address the academy award incident where one man physically attacked another man on national TV and why self control and self respect is so important. It is imperative to be in control of ones emotions and not make decisions based on feelings. Decisions based on emotional stress are usually made with wrong regrettable choices. God wants us to turn the other cheek when someone slaps us. This is not a easy thing to do but as one man displayed, turning the check gives the victory and tells us that real power is found within.
