In the final installment of our New Year, New Wine series, we come to a moment many of us feel—but often misunderstand: the stretching. In Luke 5, Jesus reminds us that new wine requires new wineskins.
Stretching is rarely comfortable. It exposes limits, challenges old habits, and confronts familiar ways of thinking. Yet, what if the stretching itself is evidence that God trusts you with something new? Discomfort may be a sign that you’re beginning to carry the new wine God has prepared for this season.
Don’t mistake the stretch for failure. It may be proof that transformation is already underway.
