The Corinthian church was plagued with divisions and conflicts, yet Paul responded not with committees or worldly tactics, but by pointing them to love in 1 Corinthians 13. Even the most impressive spiritual gifts, knowledge, and sacrifices mean nothing without love. True love suffers long, doesn't keep score of wrongs, and never fails. Sometimes we love our anger and bitterness more than our freedom, but God's way of love is the only path to true liberation.
