About
Before the fall, before the sweat and the thorns, before work became a burden – there was a garden. And in that garden, God placed the man He had formed and gave him something to do. Work was not a consequence of sin; it was a gift. In Genesis 2, we discover that to be made in the image of a creating God is to be made for meaningful labor. This morning, we return to the garden – not to escape the reality of work, but to recover its original dignity, its divine purpose, and its deep connection to the God who works and who calls us to work alongside Him.
