આજ ના સમય માં જયારે લોકો ગુજરાતી ભાષા માંડ બોલી શકે છે ત્યારે કહેવત તો બોલવી કે સમજવી બહુ અઘરી થઇ પડે ,પણ જો એને ખુબ રસપ્રદ રીતે સમજાવી શકાય તો લોકો ભાષાના આ સુંદર ઉપયોગ થી વાકેફ થાય અને રોજિંદી વાતો માં બોલતા થાય ,બસ આજ આશય થી અમે ગુજરાતી લોકસાહિત્યનો અમૂલ્ય વારસો કહી શકાય એવી કહેવતો અને કહેવતકથાઓ આપની સમક્ષ લઇ ને આવ્યા છે
