We’re talking tens of thousands of tamales sold in a single day, vendors coming in from all over California, and a community that continues to show up in a big way year after year.

From Fiesta Friday, which gives locals a chance to actually enjoy the vendors without the massive crowds, to Saturday’s full-scale takeover with live music, folklórico dancers, tamale competitions, and yes, the pet costume contest that Adam will be right in the middle of. • Fiesta Friday 5pm to 9pm with live music and early vendor access

• Main event Saturday with 20 plus tamale vendors and 40,000 to 50,000 tamales expected to be sold

• Pet costume contest hosted by Adam Montiel

• Live performances including mariachi, folklórico dancers, and Brass Mash

• Family friendly activities including bounce houses, rock climbing wall, and more

• Proceeds from beverages support the Central Coast Zoo
