Who is Sofia Thompson?
Mexican singer and songwriter passionate about music since she was six years old. Influenced by great artists such as Celine Dion, Amy Winehouse, and Frank Sinatra. Studied at the Society of authors and songwriters of Mexico (SACM). Her music gives us a mix of several music genres like R&B, Pop, and Dance, creating her sound. In 2018 she released her first single 'La Misma Noche'. 'Arde' and ‘Me Duele have been some of her most popular songs. In 2021 Sofia released her first EP named 'Roxanne' in which she introduces us to she alter ego through different events that tell the story of a breakup, from grief to empowerment. She has features like 'Vuelve' with Jafú, C.A.T. with Typow, 'Gotas' with Sobrino and her latest release 'Distintos' with the spanish singer and producer J Heras. She has performed in venues like the Lunario del Auditorio Nacional, Centro Cultural Roberto Cantoral and music festivals like EDC México. She was recently part of the Pride Parade, performing in front of more than 50,000 people.
