Former Pastor Says JP Miller's Congregation of 15 Is Exactly a Cult

JP Miller went from leading Solid Rock Church in Myrtle Beach to allegedly preaching to roughly fifteen people. On Homicide Happy Hour, former thirty-year pastor Timmy Gibson said those fifteen people are in a cult and don't know it. He confirmed that assessment with psychotherapist Shavaun Scott. Gibson recognized Miller's sermons immediately. He quotes Miller allegedly preaching that wives who fail to satisfy their husbands will find the devil sending twenty replacements. Miller stands charged federally — cyberstalking and making false statements. He has maintained his innocence. Mica Miller's death in April 2024 was ruled a suicide. Miller faces no charges in connection with her death. Gibson called Miller a very dangerous person and said he would not be surprised if Miller escalated, given enough time and isolation.
