"Authentic Academics" (Feat. Johnetta -aka- Awthentik/Poem)

Hey hey everybody, and welcome back to another episode of "TRU CHAT"...A Community Podcast, a MejIMusyK Production.  I Am your host, JoY of JoYful SoundZ, and this is episode 5 of season 7.  In this episode you will hear the returning voice of Johneeta Anderson, known in Chicago as Sis. Awthentik...Poet, educator as well as a student, D.J., and the list goes on.  This interview was just in perfect timing to give a review for "The Woman King."  Excellent movie, that was taken apart by black communities, In my opinion, for lack of wanting and in some cases ...knowing how to account and process old pain and trauma.

As Johnetta gives the older generations a STRONG sense of hope, Black women will continue to shine.  Conversation points throughout this episode are 1.  Zero tolerance policy. 2.  Who's to blame for the state of our people and nation for that matter  3.The ability to see yourself in others.
