Tension is aplenty between Major League Baseball players and owners as little progress is being made to reach a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Both sides want a lot out of each other and are making it hard. Things got intense when the owners asked for a federal mediator to resolve things, yet the players denied the request, while worrying that doing so would not get them all that they want.
