Another deadline for a new Collective Bargaining Agreement for a full season is on the horizon. All the latest information proposals and what may happen with a deal is discussed.

One of the less important issues that the player and owners and discussing in a new Collective Bargaining Agreement is if the postseason should be expanded and if so, by how much. Pros and cons of this and different ideas for postseason formats are discussed.

Spring training is supposed to begin this week for Major League Baseball! The regular season is supposed to begin in 6 weeks! With no agreement between the players and owners in place, spring training is likely about to be delayed and the regular season could be as well. Time is not on the side of anyone and the sport is at real danger of missing games.

Tension is aplenty between Major League Baseball players and owners as little progress is being made to reach a new Collective Bargaining Agreement. Both sides want a lot out of each other and are making it hard. Things got intense when the owners asked for a federal mediator to resolve things, yet the players denied the request, while worrying that doing so would not get them all that they want.

With the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) talks ongoing, the issue that players have with some teams choosing not to be competitive in various baseball seasons is discussed.

David Ortiz and six other stars from many decades ago have been elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame to make up the class of 2022. Ortiz's accomplishments is discussed as well as other players who just missed the hall and updates on labor negotiations are provided.
