From Corporate to Circle: What It Really Takes to Lead Women's Healing Spaces
The Womben Wellness Podcast
Want to hear from more womb circle facilitators? Join me on March 25th at 10am PT for one of my most-loved free wokshops, Work Like a Girl: Feminine-Based Business: https://bit.ly/4sJph25
Three graduates of my Womb Circle Facilitator Certification - Kelly Rae Kerwin, Melissa O'Malley, and Jennifer Gimeno - join me for a raw, honest conversation about what it actually takes to lead women's healing spaces in the world.
This one is for you if you've ever asked yourself "who am I to do this?". We talk imposter syndrome, the cost of performing vs. sharing, energetic protection, the medicine of circle work, and so much more. These women have done the trainings, made the leaps, and they're here to walk you through it, too.
Here's what you can expect...
00:00 - Opening: "The only time imposter syndrome cannot exist is when you're being yourself"
04:13 - Meet the guests: Melissa the Self-Care Witch, Kelly Rae the birth-worker-turned-energy-healer, and Jenny the ex-hairstylist turned somatic facilitator
11:16 - Leaving the "normal" path: the inner knowing of fuck no and why it's so scary to follow it
13:34 - Jenny's ultimate hack for imposter syndrome (and why it works every single time)
18:10 - Kelly Rae on healing her early-twenties self as the key to stepping into leadership
22:46 - Performing vs. sharing: why performing is exhausting and how one small language shift changes everything
27:19 - Show your scars, not your wounds: how to be vulnerable online without bleeding on your audience
34:21 - Your body is a love story: Jenny on somatics, nervous system safety, and teaching from lived experience
43:28 - What actually happens in your circles when you stop performing and just show up real
47:52 - Melissa on the moment she brought herself into the circle - and how it unlocked everything for her participants
54:50 - One-on-one vs. group work: the unique medicine of community healing and why if the wounding happens in community, the healing must too
01:01:48 - Jenny's anonymous bowl exercise and the magic of watching women see themselves in each other
01:06:26 - Energetic protection: how to hold space for other women's pain without carrying it home
01:17:39 - What makes Womb Circle Facilitator Certification different from every other training these women have done
01:26:42 - Billboard wisdom: if every woman in the world could read one thing, what would it be?

Kelly Rae Kerwin
Kelly Rae Kerwin is an integrative spiritual mentor devoted to guiding women back to their innate power. Before stepping into the Womb Circle Facilitator Certification, she was already holding sacred ceremonies and spaces for women, rooted in grounded healing, embodiment, and deep spiritual remembrance. What began as professional expansion became a profound personal initiation. Within the container of the certification, Kelly was able to tend to deep sisterhood wounds in a way that hadn't been accessible anywhere else - transforming not just her facilitation, but her relationship to feminine community itself.
