Be sure not to get caught up in living by the actions of your past. Even past successes can become a deterrent to progress. I can remember my grandmother saying to me, It’s not what they call you, it’s what you answer to that matters!) That sounds good but as I’ve matured in life, I’ve found that they both matter.

We are not the same, I am not the same! That had to become words that I heard myself saying over the noise of people that don’t know, people that use to know me, and people that barely know me. It comes with this entrepreneurship journey. So be bold in what you say about who you are and where you are because they are words shaping your life.

Oh, and don’t get discouraged by one or two who don’t see the now you. That is not a fight you want to waste your time on. Trust me. 😌
