Today we celebrate the week of the autumnal equinox. The assumption that pagans and the old religions worshiped a pantheon of gods and goddesses out of confusion and ignorance is an incredibly misguided belief. A study of historical literature actually seems to indicate that these ideas, like the Black Mass, were themselves an invention of the literalist church. The same is true for the solstices and equinoxes, which were holy days of nature, being branded evil. On this episode, Ramsey Darling, author of "The Satanic Self," joins to discuss this and more.
