That's right...two shows in one on the Radical Songbook

The Radical Songbook
About

The Thanksgiving/Manifest Destiny show featuring William S. Burroughs, the Firesign Theater, Buffy Sainte-Marie, and a Tribe Called Red...plus a Haiku by Kathryn Wood and a road trip down Route 66. Then we return to the Sixties (what? again?) in the San Francisco Bay Area, with some rare cuts by short-lived bands that performed in small venues on the Peninsula and over in the East Bay.Tune in to hear Lydia Pense and the Newcastle Five, the Mojo Men, the Vejtables, Harbinger Complex, Peter Wheat and the Breadmen, and a band billed as the Salinas Beatles. My good friend Glenn Morgan will be on the phone with me from Belmont, California, as we listen to and recall bands we saw at hot spots like the Nu Beat Club, the Cinnamon Tree and the Peninsula Y. Will the Spyders show up? Who knows?
