Bend community leader Marcus LeGrand joins Michael for a conversation about Black History Month events in Bend, Oregon. Marcus will bring some songs that fit with the theme of this year's celebration--"Her Power, Our Strength.” Expect songs and testimony by the great Paul Robeson, who died fifty years ago this month. Robeson was one of the most famous and well-known Black Americans until the racism of the government's Red Scare in the 1950s virtually "disappeared" him from our culture and history.
