The Radical Songbook

Okay, not completely unknown. Probably not unknown at all to many of you. That was the title of the Mojo Magazine CD that accompanied a lengthy feature about Dylan's early years in Greenwich Village. I'm talking about the folk singers who inspired--and were inspired by--Bob Dylan in the early 1960s. Folks like Dave Van Ronk, Carolyn Hester, Fred Neil, Odetta.All good sounds for your ears.

Songs by Todd Snider and Jimmy Cliff are featured on The Radical Songbook. Snider, a hilarious storyteller, died at age 59 on November 14. Cliff, a reggae legend, passed at age 81 on November 24.
