The silent killer threatening Colorado's trees and what's being done to stop it

If you've spent time in Colorado, you've probably noticed patches of dead trees on various hillsides around the state. In this episode of the OutThere Colorado Podcast, Spencer chats with Wesley Manney, the Founder and Director of The Mountain Pine Beetle Foundation. Their discussion covers the threat of pine beetles in Colorado and the devastation this insect species can cause – both in the backcountry and in your own neighborhood. Also discussed is what locals can do to protect their own trees and their greater community. Wesley Manney's organization offers property evaluations and more, with information available at mountainpinebeetle.org.
