Anna Wallack - The Misha & Puff Founder & Childrenswear Veteran On 15 Years In Business, Raising Tweens & Teens, & Her Biggest Life Lessons
The MOTHER Podcast with Katie Hintz-Zambrano
Anna Wallack is the founder of Misha & Puff — a cult-followed knitwear brand for children and women, known for its inventive color combinations and vintage-inspired styles.
An artist and knitter from an early age, Anna was inspired to start Misha & Puff while on maternity leave with her first child, Nadav, and getting compliments on her son’s hand-knitted ensembles.
The company’s reputation grew fast — both across the U.S. and Asia. Today, 15 years later, Misha & Puff has a global footprint, offices in the U.S. and Peru (where many of the garments are made), and dozens of employees.
In today’s conversation, Anna talks about growing up in Massachusetts with encouraging hippie parents, the biggest business and life lessons she’s learned with Misha & Puff, the triumphs and challenges of raising tweens and teens, and the importance of seeing your children for exactly who they are.
