Before moving to SiriusXM, "THE" Lance Jay Radio Network aired on ESPN Radio and NBC Sports focusing primarily on the intersection between Sports and Hip-Hop Music. During the Covid 19 Pandemic James, a veteran in the healthcare executive space started The Rubicon Healthcast as a series of healthcare segments under the Network umbrella and was syndicated on terrestrial radio via Urban One and Bloomberg in the Washington D.C., Atlanta, Seattle, Nashville and Orlando/Tampa markets.

In December of 2023 "THE" Lance Jay Radio Network signed a deal to move exclusively to SiriusXM Channel 141 HUR Voices joining the Howard University Radio Network Family. In July of 2025 HUR voices picked up The Rubicon also. Lance Jay Plus + airs every segment of both shows in addition to uncensored content.
