She explains the Mormon-rooted doctrine of “blood atonement,” how her father used it to justify killing perceived threats and defectors, and recounts learning as an adult that her sister Rebecca—pregnant and about 18—was executed after threatening to go to police. Celia discusses FBI raids, indoctrination of children, attempted and carried-out hits including the killing of Rulon Allred by coerced teenage girls, and how life worsened under Dan Jordan’s abusive control. After a public beating and being denied education, she fled at 19 to rebuild her life, later emphasizing compassion for siblings shaped by coercion.
