“Does Jesus Like Doctrine or Love?” from John 17:9-26

Have you ever heard doctrine and love pitted against each other? Most likely, you have. Did Jesus advocate love for others and minimize doctrine as "for the mean"? Or, did Jesus take doctrine as of utmost importance and dismiss those crying for love as effeminate hippies?
