From Washington: HHS Offers Revision of Childhood Vaccine Guidelines

A new executive order from the Trump administration is shifting federal childhood vaccine recommendations, sparking debate among public health officials, doctors, and parents. The new schedule reduces federal recommendations from 18 diseases down to 11 and calls for splitting up the combination MMR vaccine. Former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Jerome Adams joins Rundown to discuss why he believes the administration is acting on bad medical advice, straining relationships further between parents and doctors, and could potentially lead to a rise in preventable childhood diseases.
